Hello guys, Its Monday afternoon and the sun finally decided to come out after a rainy week and weekend, I think once I’m done my post, I’m going to head out for walk and enjoy the good weather!! I don't really have much to update you on cause all I’ve done for the past week was work, my life hasn't been super interesting, but tonight is date night and its Mexi-Monday at our favorite restaurant so I’m going to get the biggest plate of nachos and drink lots and lots of beer and forget that I only have 1 day off in 10 days and wont see Mr. Tim for another 5 after today.
One of my favorite silhouettes is oversized, that's probably why I have a love for men’s fashion and why Tim says I wear to much clothing…lol, but it still doesn’t change that the fact that certain pieces of mens clothing look super bomb when you mix it in to your wardrobe and pair it with more feminine pieces. Designers from Balenciaga, Vetements, Off-White, Tibi, Celine and so many more show this exaggerated silhouette of the dress shirt and blazers (which I already did a post on) because it looks so fresh when paired with womens clothing.
If this is a look you like or want to try out you don't have to pay big bucks.. for it, I just walked my ass to the thrift store and picked up a few styles in the mens section for 5$ instead of the hefty price tag of 500$+ on the designer versions!
This look is high fashion but also comfortable and is great for those days you want to look stylish but you just don't want to fuss with your outfit. You can pair with leather trousers like I did or wear as a dress with some cute boots or can leave it unbuttoned and wear it as a jacket anything really!
Lately this and my men’s blazers has been my go-to outfit, it requires minimal effort and it looks super chic (Tim kinda hates it but oh well..lol). Every time I wear one of the 2 everyone always ask where I got them and they tend to be quite surprised when I say they were thrifted .. fashion doesn't always have to break the bank!
Have a great Monday Guys!!
