The Pants You'll Never want to take Off!

Good morning guys, it's a lovely Monday here in Vancouver and it's going to be super hot so naturally, I thought it would be a great idea to do a post about how to wear chinos and a denim jacket in 35-degree heat... lol. I think it's just cause I'm super excited for fall!!

Did everyone have a grand weekend?? Tim and I went on hiking/camping trip that just about killed us... not literally but let's just say its bloody hard hiking a 10km trail with 50lb rucksack, in 36-degree heat, oh and did I mention that the trail is 80% uphill and full of black flys that just don't piss off and leave you alone....lol. Let's just say I'm having a hard time walking this morning lol!! But in all fairness it was a lot of fun, it kinda makes you feel like you can do anything when you accomplish something that you didn't think you could do !!

Now everyone knows how much I love denim, so it surprised me when I found something that I loved just as much, maybe even more! Chinos! These things are so bloody comfy its crazy, you could go out and eat in them and not have to worry about being uncomfortable because you overeat, which always happens to me... I hate wearing denim to dinner ...lol

Chinos are similar to a khaki pant, one major difference is the fabric that they are made out of, Chinos are made out of a lightweight cotton and are a bit more on the fitted side, and a Khaki tends to be made from thick cotton and wool and is more of a relaxed fit. To be honest, they're pretty much the same thing, some might say these are khakis but I would say there Chinos

Traditionally they are a boring kinda smart casual pant, usually worn at the office. What I love about this particular style, is that they have been refreshed into this kinda street-cool style, with the high waist and silver hardware, and I love that they have the elastic bottom! What do you guys think? Are they better then denim??
