The Statment Skirt
Good morning beautiful people its another lovely day here in Marmora, so far everyday is sunny and gorgeous so its been easy living up that spring life specially since may long weekend starts on FRIDAY!!!!
May long, normally I'm working...since I was 14 I have only managed to have the long weakened off once and that was last year when Tim took me to LA for my birthday and he just so happened to propose, so it was a great trip lol. Usually May Long signifies the first camping trip of the season and 9/10 times its pissing rain ... so naturally I didn't care that I was working instead of being with my friends, camping and boating on the Shuswap Lake....I wish that was true.... but hey at least I was making money.
What are your guys plans for May Long, Camping trip with some friends, working.... maybe a long over due vacation?
Who doesn't love a good skirt ... I know I love them. I might be alone when I say this but I prefer skirts to shorts ....probably cause I find them more flattering on the legs. Skirts make your legs look long and lean, shorts have the ability to make your legs look thick and stumpy (angle subjective of cours). Now we all have those plain black skirts that sit in our wardrobe on repeat for when ever we need to get a little bit more dressed up, but what about those days when you want to step it up a notch and look better then normal. Statement skirts have the ability take a plain t-shirt and sneakers to the next level, there those fun pieces that spice up your wardrobe, that you can throw on in seconds and look amazing and polished, there something that makes you feel unique and exciting... yes close have the ability to make you feel unique and exciting lol
I've rounded some of my favorite statement skirts that make an ordinary outfit extraordinary, what I look for when buying my skirts is; length, fabric, pattern and the cut, if you focus on those 4 things all will be right in your skirt world!
I've already added one of these babies to my wardrobe! Which is you favorite
