ItsTuesday evening, and I've finally decided to finish this blog post that I started last week....
I'm starting to come to terms with the lack of, or some might say "poor" time management skills I have with my life... lol. Its funny I've always thought of myself as exemplary in this area, but in the past recent months I've got to say, I have been quite shit at it...
how do we do this
While we were out for brunch last Sunday morning I was thinking to myself, How can I fix or improve my time management problem??? As I look around the table and see my sister and her and her fiancé, I think to myself how do they do it.. They seem to manage everything just fine and they have a small human to look after. I'm defiinitly not doing something I should be doing to make my life easier ...lol
I'm one of those people that when I finally decide to do something, I'm all in. The problem with that is, I don't spread my time. Ill spend 200% in one area and let everything else fall wayside, and I mean everything... Before it was okay, or well not okay, but because I spent 200% of my time at work and did nothing else, I didn't really notice my problem with my "Time Management." But now I'm working, taking classes, blogging, wedding planning, designing a clothing line, and trying to spend time with my fiancé and family and friends and there just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day to get everything done, or at least not for me...
I've decided to start small and focus on the controllables, like organization. I created allotted time slots in which certain things need to get done... its like I'm finally becoming an adult...lol. I've also started pre planning my weeks ahead of time, so my days are more efficient and I can strategize my plan of attack for upcoming projects. Essentially I'm applying my work strategy to my home life ... which I've been trying to avoid, but this avoidance has led to a series of unfortunate events that have left me more behind in life and feeling more stressed out... I've finally decided to make a change ..lol, it's not a massive change but is a small step in the right direction!
if any one has any tips for time management of life ... PLEASE let me know!
