Slipping into fall....

Slipping into fall...

For me, today marked the first day of Fall. It was the first day the air was cool enough for me to want to wear a big fluffy sweater! The weather was been undoubtably wonderful the past few weeks, one would never know it was fall here in Vancouver, we'vehad no rain, just blue sky's and sun!

The air was crisp today, the streets were lined with blowing leaves and people walking aroundlayered up in their cozy autumnalclothing. I was personally not ready for Fall nor I'm I ready for Thanksgiving, which is tomorrow... It feels like yesterday it was September and I was all pumped for month long filled of fashion shows showing the latest collections for spring 2018 and now all of a sudden its Thanks giving and I have to start wearing sweaters and winter coats ....man time fly's

Something Ive never been a fan of nor have I willing participated in, is the dreaded spring/winter closet clean outs. I personally don't believe in them, for a number of reasons but ill give you my top 3; 1) I couldn't be bothered, 2) I don't have the space in my tiny apartment, and I don't feel like getting a storage locker. 3) I'm just to stubborn and I think all clothes can be worn all the time! So instead I just find ways to incorporate seasonal pieces into my current wardrobe like the trusty slip dress!

The slip dress is get another honorable mention due to the fact that I love them sooo so much and I have about 10, maybe more. All of whichI've accumulated over the past few years so these babies aren't going anywhere fast!

A great way to convert for spring pieces into fall ready numbers, is by layering. Today I decided to pair my slip dress with a chunky oversized sweater a waist-belt with and of course some ankle boots- just to get a bit more shape, I tucked the sweater into the belt

In the evening we decided to go see a movie, so I decided switch out the oversized sweater for an oversized denim jacket! I love anything oversized...unfortunately my fiancé doesn't share the same love for this trend....lol
